3 BIG General Hospital Takeaways, February 17: The walls close in on Cyrus as Sasha makes a huge move

On the Monday, February 17, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Cyrus prepared to kill again, Elizabeth had news, and Sasha put a big plan into motion.

Cyrus (Jeff Kober) sat alone in his hideaway, reading Bible verses, going through vials of Digitalis, and preparing a special syringe of death. After his syringe was ready, he called General Hospital and asked for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). The nurse on duty said she was gone for the day, so Cyrus knew where he had to go.

What he didn't know was that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was on her way to his hideaway. She made sure Trina (Tabyana Ali) left for a big date with Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) while she donned all black, grabbed Dex's (Evan Hofer) gun, and got ready to catch a killer.

Jason (Steve Burton) was surprised to see Elizabeth sneak into the PCPD interrogation room. She assured him she was on the case and had the evidence to put Cyrus away. Liz wanted Jason to focus on Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) because she was taking care of the Cyrus situation. Liz brought her briefcase full of evidence to Anna (Finola Hughes), who was duly impressed with Liz's amateur detective skills. Liz and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) had gone dumpster diving outside Cyrus' building and found a syringe receipt for someone named Paul Damascus, which Liz pointed out was a biblical name. She found a box from a second delivery but no receipt telling her what was inside.

Anna thought this evidence could lead her to more, but she didn't believe she could arrest Cyrus yet. Liz declared that wasn't good enough, which caused Anna to rethink things.

While Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) tried to figure out whether Jason could really be the father of Sasha's baby, Sasha told Jason they needed to up their game. Thanks to Elaine (Judy Kain) investigating her, Sasha was sure that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) suspected that Michael was the father of her child. She needed Jason to tell people he was rather than passively letting people believe it.

Sasha took things one step further when she spotted Willow at the PCPD to pay a fine on her impounded car. She grabbed Jason and planted one on him, causing Anna, Mac (John J. York), and Willow to gawk with their jaws on the floor.
