Former General Hospital and Days of our Lives actor Jeffrey Vincent Parise (ex-Carlos Rivera; ex-Detective Sullivan) has joined the cast of TBS' The Detour.
Jeffrey Vincent Parise, known for a recent stint as General Hospital's Carlos Rivera and a past stint as Days of our Lives' Detective Sullivan, is heading to primetime.
The Indiana native took to Facebook to share the news, writing, "So happy and [excited] to officially announce the I joined the cast for the 2nd season of The Detour on TBS! First episode premieres February 21st at 10pm. If you haven't seen this hysterical show, the first three episodes of season 1 are available on YouTube!"

Created, written and executive-produced by Jason Jones and Samantha Bee, The Detour stars Jones, along with Natalie Zea (ex-Gwen Winthrop, Passions), Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Carroll and Daniella Pineda.
Season 2 of the series picks up with Nate (Jones) announcing to his family that he has received a promising job opportunity in New York City. Everyone is thrilled except for Robin (Zea), who knows that a move to the Big Apple might spark her mysterious past to finally catch up with her. As Nate and Robin adjust to new jobs and old lovers, Jared (Carroll) and Delilah (Gerasimovich) struggle through the awkwardness of adolescence.
