Heads up, long time General Hospital fans. Tonja Walker is reportedly reprising her role as lady mobster Olivia Jerome.
General Hospital viewers put the detective skills of Sherlock Holmes to shame. Minutes after a mysterious Jerome crime family associate named Oscar Jessup was mentioned on air, fans took to social media, guessing that the character is actually presumed dead mobster Olivia St. John Jerome, played by Tonja Walker. And rumor has it, the actress could indeed be set to return to Port Charles.
Daytime Confidential reports that Walker is in talks with the ABC soap to bring back the nefarious character killed in 1990 by her brother, Julian (now played by William deVry).

If the West Virginia native does reprise the role, old school GH fans will likely be over the moon. Olivia was heavily involved in story with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and will likely ruffle the crime-fighting detective's feathers once more. Meanwhile, both long term and new viewers of the soap would likely enjoy watching Walker get to know her new sister, Ava Jerome (Maura West), as well as face off with the lovely brother who supposedly killed her almost 30 years ago.
In addition to her role as Olivia Jerome, Walker wowed daytime audiences as Guiding Light's Marie Green, Passions' Grace Nancier, Capitol's Lizbeth Bachman, and One Life to Live's Alex Olanov. She most recently appeared in the TV series Exiled Out East.
