Former daytime star Ignacio Serricchio (ex-Diego Alcazar, General Hospital; ex-Det. Alex Chavez, The Young and the Restless) joins the cast of Netflix's Lost In Space.
Great news for fans of daytime alum Ignacio Serricchio (ex-Diego Alcazar, General Hospital; ex-Det. Alex Chavez, The Young and the Restless)! The actor has been cast alongside Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, and Parker Posey in the upcoming Netflix series Lost In Space.
Deadline reports Serricchio will play Don West in the series, which is based on Irwin Allen's 1965 cult TV classic of the same name and centers around the Robinsons, a family stranded light years away from home that must battle a strange alien environment as well as their personal demons.
Serricchio's Don, previously played by Mark Goddard in the 1960s CBS version of the series, is a roughneck smuggler who eventually finds himself at home with the Robinson family. Stephens and Parker play the Robinson parents, while Posey plays Dr. Smith, a female version of the character from the original series.
