Soap veteran Robin Riker is bringing both Naomi Dreyfus and a mother lode of drama back to General Hospital.
Mother's Day is coming early for General Hospital's Hayden (Rebecca ). Her love-to-hate mom, Naomi, is heading back to Port Charles.
Robin Riker has reprised the role of the popular character and will be back by the end of the month, Soap Opera Digest reports in its latest issue.
Is Naomi returning because of Hayden's failing health? Or might something else be bringing the enigmatic character back to the canvas? As fans may recall, Naomi was hauled off to jail last September after taking the fall in a stolen diamond case to spare her daughter from punishment. This came hot on the heels of the reveal that Jeff Webber is Hayden's father -- which makes Hayden and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) half-sisters.

With Riker's return, many fans are questioning whether or not Jeff Webber is also headed back to the ABC soap opera for a storyline centering around the characters' newly unveiled connection. The character was last played by MacGyver star Richard Dean Anderson and left Port Charles back in 1981.
