General Hospital alum Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma Drake) has has been named a Star on the Horizon during this year's Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
Congratulations are in order for General Hospital's Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma Drake). The young actress won the Star on the Horizon award at this year's Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
The soap opera alum, who was just nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year, took home the honor for her work in The Storyteller, a film that follows an enchanted young girl who brings wonder and healing to a broken family.
"Thank you Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival for honoring Brooklyn Rae Silzer for her role in 'The Storyteller' with this amazing award!" the film's official Twitter handle wrote. "Congratulations to the exceptionally talented Brooklyn!"

A post on Silzer's Twitter account added, "Super Grateful ❤️ Thank you @storyteller2017 for having me in your film & to #fliff2017 for this honor."
As Soap Central previously reported, popular GH veterans Kristina Wagner (Felicia Jones) and Constance Towers (Helena Cassadine) were also in the film that was released earlier this year.
