General Hospital viewers are in for a special treat this week, as one of the ABC soap's directors, Phideaux Xavier, will be performing at Curtis Ashford's club, the Savoy.
Emmy-winning General Hospital director Phideaux Xavier has gifted the ABC soap opera with another one of his talents. He is set to appear as a singer at the Savoy, the fictional club owned by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Xavier will be taking the stage in the Friday, November 12, episode, and it really is a special treat: even though he is a longtime soap opera director, Xavier is also a composer of modern technological tunes and knows quite a bit about how to entertain fans musically.
The New York native has been writing and performing songs for decades, and he has released several albums, including 2020's Lysogenic Burnt Offerings, 2018's Infernal, 2011's Snowtorch, 2009's Number Seven, 2007's Doomsday Afternoon, 2006's The Great Leap, 2005's Chupacabras, 2004's Ghost Story, 2003's Fiendish, and his 1993 debut album Friction.
