Former General Hospital star Annie Ilonzeh (ex-Maya Ward) is heading to the FOX primetime soap, Empire.
General Hospital alum Annie Ilonzeh (ex-Maya Ward) may have starred on shows like Charlie's Angels, Arrow, and Person of Interest since leaving Port Charles in 2011, but she's about to head back to soap operas -- only this time, it'll be on FOX's hit primetime soap Empire.
According to EW.com, the actress has joined the series in the role of TV reporter Harper Scott.
"The character is one of the best reporters in the business and is focused on Empire," the site states. "She's tough, smart, and not above using her seductive appearance to get answers -- this is Empire, after all."
Ilonzeh, who originated GH's Maya in 2010, will begin appearing during Empire's final eight episodes airing this spring.
