Word on the street is that model Antione Grant has joined the series, and many viewers believe he may be a recast for Tequan Richmond in the role of T.J. Ashford.

Grant posted the news of his casting on Instagram, writing: "Getting ready for my role on GH. I'm tripping out while typing this because my grandma watched this show faithfully and now I'm working on it! She would go bananas if she could see it! I know she put in a good word for me."

The post has since been deleted, but like anything posted on the Internet, once it's there, it's there forever. And even in the post's absence, diehard GH fans are having a heyday guessing who the California native might be playing, with T.J. Ashford coming in for the win due to portrayer Tequan Richmond's recent luck in primetime.

However, according to Soaps In Depth, Grant will not be playing the role of T.J.; his upcoming role on the ABC soap opera remains a mystery.

According to his official website, Grant hails from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and was scouted by a major Los Angeles modeling agency in 2014, which led to runway and print work for big brands like Nike, Robin Jeans, and Asics. He made his television debut in 2016, playing a football player in an episode of Disney Channel's Girl Meets World. His other credits include Westworld, Champions, and Deadly Sins.
