The Office creator Greg Daniels has a new series called Upload coming to Amazon Prime, and General Hospital star Jessica Tuck (Cassandra Pierce) has signed on to the sci-fi comedy.
General Hospital viewers love watching Jessica Tuck in the role of General Hospital villain Cassandra Pierce, and the actress is getting ready to give fans something else they can love -- she has joined the cast of the new Amazon Prime series Upload.
Created by The Office genius Greg Daniels, Upload is described as a single-camera sitcom that takes place in the near future, where people who are near death can be "uploaded" into a virtual afterlife of their choice. Set in 2033, the secretly romantic Brooklyn-born Nora (Andy Allo) works customer service for a luxurious virtual reality environment. When the self-driving car of handsome L.A. party boy Nathan (Robbie Amell) crashes, his high-maintenance girlfriend uploads him permanently into Nora's VR world.

"Amazon is the perfect place to make Upload because of their strong creative team, and because it's a company that could actually one day host a digital afterlife," Daniels says of the series that stars Tuck as a character named Viv. "If I get in good with them, I'm hoping for a big discount on my first thousand years."
Upload was the last remaining pilot greenlighted at Amazon under the studio's former head Roy Price's "democratic" process in which viewers were able to stream and vote on which should go through.
Tuck made her GH debut in September of 2017. She is best known to daytime fans for her role as One Life to Live's Megan Gordon, who tragically died of lupus in the early 1990s. Her other soap roles include Days of our Lives' Madeline Peterson Woods and Sunset Beach's Diane Wood.
