General Hospital's Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) is the latest soap star to join the cast of the Internet soap series Misguided.
The second season of the online comedy series, Misguided, is off to a triumphant start. Hot on the heels of a successful Kickstarter campaign that will bring a second season to life, the series has announced that General Hospital star Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) has signed on to play a new character.
"I am excited to be joining the Misguided family," the actress says in a statement. "This drama is fun, funny and full of surprises. [Creator and series star] Paul Gosselin delivers in every way."
Misguided follows Paul, an aspiring soap opera actor, who is attempting to "reignite the light" after his favorite daytime drama, Guiding Light, gets cancelled. Part One of the series is available on YouTube and features an impressive roster of soap opera actors, including Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman, The Young and the Restless; ex-Annie Chandler, All My Children). The list of daytime stars continues to grow as Part Two of the series begins production: Jean Carol (ex-Nadine Cooper, GL), Ivet Corvea (reporter from GH) and Stephanie Gatschet (ex-Madison North, AMC; ex-Tammy Winslow, GL) have already signed on.
