Fans of General Hospital's Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Davis) generally feel they don't see enough of the young actress on-screen in Port Charles, so they may be happy to hear that she has signed on to the primetime hit Major Crimes.
Ainsworth took to Instagram with the message: "Excited to be in Major Crimes for a few episodes. It's been such a fun experience. Can't wait to tell you guys more about it!"

Major Crimes is a TNT police procedural series that spun off from The Closer. It stars Mary McDonnell as Commander Sharon Raydor, head of the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crimes Division. The sixth and final season of the series is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, October 31.
