Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children) has a fun Christmas treat for fans: he's getting back together with one of his TV wives on a new Hallmark-like network that seems to be planning big things for the popular pair...
Hallmark fans are going to have to betray their favorite network and change the channel later this month, but for a really good reason: brand-new network GAC Family is reuniting former Home & Family co-hosts Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children) and Debbie Matenopoulos for a holiday special!
"Reunited with my TV wife Debbie Matenopoulos for a special on GAC Family October 24th!" Mathison shared on Instagram. "So much fun getting to laugh with you again Deb... and talk all things Christmas for GAC. Lots of surprise guests drop in too."

The special, called Welcome to Great American Christmas, will kick off GAC Family's Christmas 2021 film lineup, which includes Mathison's upcoming holiday movie, A Kindhearted Christmas. Formerly called Secret Santa, the rom-com co-stars 90210 actress Jennie Garth and premieres on Saturday, November 20.
Fortunately for fans of Home & Family, Mathison and Matenopoulos' upcoming reunion in the GAC Family holiday special sounds like it could be the start of something much bigger for the pair: Mathison shared an Instagram story that said the special is "just the beginning," while Matenopoulos shared an Instagram story about the special that said, "Love you Cam. Here's to an even brighter future... 2.0 here we come!"
Fans may remember that in his initial interviews about joining General Hospital, Mathison was reluctant to discuss the length of his stay. "I think I'll just say I'm under contract [at] GH. I don't want to get in trouble," Mathison said at the time.
GAC Family and its sister network, GAC Living, were launched in late September by Bill Abbott, the former CEO of the Hallmark Channel. Neither began with original content, but GAC Family will start airing its original Christmas movies in late October. The network also picked up season two of When Hope Calls -- a spinoff of Hallmark's When Calls the Heart whose first season was available on the network's streaming-only service, Hallmark Movies Now. Season two of When Hope Calls will premiere on GAC Family with a two-part special called When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas on Saturday, December 18.
