General Hospital alum Ricky Martin is expecting baby #4

A new baby is on the way for singer Ricky Martin (ex-Miguel Morez, General Hospital), who announced the news while accepting the HRC National Visibility Award at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner.

It's a beautiful time for former General Hospital star Ricky Martin (ex-Miguel Morez), who has double the good news to share. While on stage accepting the HRC National Visibility Award at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner on Saturday night (the first bit of exciting news), he announced something even sweeter: he and his husband, Jwan Yosef, are expecting their fourth baby.

Martin's acceptance speech for the distinguished Human Rights Campaign award was filled with "thank-yous" to his family, which were followed by the baby announcement.

"Jwan, I don't see you, but my husband Jwan, I love you. My beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo...I love you with all my heart. You're my strength," he told his family. "Lucia, my baby girl who is not here with us, she stayed at home with Grandma, for she's also the light of my life. And by the way, I have to announce that we are pregnant, we are waiting. I love big families!"

Martin has been in the entertainment industry since he was twelve years old, and he gushes to ET that, though his career is exciting, it doesn't hold a candle to being father to Lucia, who was born in January; Matteo and Valentino, who are 11; and his soon-to-be bundle of joy.

"I was born doing this [career], but there's nothing like the tranquility at home, when you have your kids running when you open the door of your house and they run toward you and they say, 'Daddy, Daddy, welcome home!'" he says. "It's the best thing."

The HRC National Visibility Award is given to people who have made concerted efforts in protecting and expanding rights for LGBTQ individuals, most notably advocating for marriage equality, anti-discrimination and hate crimes legislation, and HIV/AIDS advocacy. Martin, who came out as gay in 2010, was recently publicly involved in the protests against the former governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rossell, who used homophobic and other bigoted language in private conversations.

As soap opera fans may recall, The Young and the Restless' Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) won the HRC National Visibility Award in 2014.
