Another long-forgotten General Hospital character will be making a comeback in the coming weeks. Hugo Napier will reprise the role of Larry Ashton, a role not seen in 22 years.
A General Hospital spokesperson has confirmed that Hugo Napier will reprise the role of Larry Ashton. Larry's resurfacing after 22 years off the canvas is just the latest effort by the show's writing team to mine 51 years of history.
Larry Ashton -- Ned's father and Tracy Quartermaine's ex-husband -- is often referred to as "Lord Larry," but Larry was revealed to be an imposter and not the true Ashton heir. In addition to his work on General Hospital, Napier also appeared on All My Children, where he briefly played Mike Roy in 1984 and 1985, and he played Gunnar St. Clair on As the World Turns from 1982 to 1985.
