Hallmark Channel has recruited former General Hospital star Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin Munro) for its upcoming Christmas film Holiday Date.
General Hospital star Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin Munro) is already pretty dang irresistible, but he's upping the charm factor with his latest project. The daytime alum is the star of Hallmark Channel's upcoming Christmas film Holiday Date.
Cohen took to Instagram to share that he just began filming the heartwarming movie that is set to premiere on Sunday, December 22. He posted several photos of himself along with his costar Brittany Bristow to go along with the news.
"Having NO FUN here while we make the #HOLIDAYDATE movie!! Don't miss our antics on December 22 at 8pm on Hallmark Channel with @britbristow and me!" he captioned the photos.

Seeing as how production on Holiday Date just began, Hallmark hasn't been able to release any photos or a trailer for the film. However, it's reportedly one of two Hanukkah-themed movies in the network's annual collection of holiday movies this season.
Cohen joined the cast of GH back in 2016 and played the character of Dr. Griffin Munro until he was written out in March of 2019. As fans of the soap recall, the heartbroken doc left town in mourning after Kiki's murder. His post-GH projects have included producing and directing the indie thriller Mama Bear as well as directing and appearing in the CW's Supernatural.
