General Hospital has teamed up with Shriners Hospital once again for a powerful new story set to unfold this week.
General Hospital and Shriners Hospital have once again joined forces to bring soap opera fans an emotional story that helps real-life people.
Several episodes beginning Tuesday, September 19, will feature patients from Shriners Hospitals for Children as well as the Shriners themselves and will tell the story of a young friend of Charlotte's who suffers from scoliosis.

Shriners Hospital for Children is dedicated to providing outstanding medical care to youngsters in the areas of orthopedics, spinal cord injury, burn care, and cleft lip and palate -- regardless of a family's ability to pay.
This isn't the first time the organization has partnered with GH; just last year, Monica advised Jason and Liz to take Jake to Shriners after the boy was hit by a car. Meanwhile, Shriners helped Spencer recover from severe burns he sustained in a fire back in 2015.
Shriners recently developed a free SpineScreen app that helps parents check their children's spines for signs of scoliosis simply by moving their phone along the child's back. To learn more about the app, available in the iTunes App Store and Google Play, check out the video below.
