General Hospital's executive producer, Frank Valentini, and head writers, Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman, have all re-upped at the ABC soap.
With all the behind-the-scenes changes happening at The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives, soap fans have been on edge about General Hospital -- especially considering the slew of exit stories accompanying Teresa Castillo (Sabrina Santiago), Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos), and Tyler Christopher's (Nikolas Cassadine) departures from the show this week. However, Port Charles fans won't have to worry about the powers that be fleeing the scene.

According to Daytime Confidential, GH executive producer Frank Valentini, who took over from Jill Farren Phelps in 2012, signed a new contract with the show earlier this month.
Additionally, both GH head writers, Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman, who took over from Ron Carlivati in 2015, have also signed new deals with the ABC soap. In a twist, the head writer who took over for Passanante and Altman at The Young and the Restless, Charles Pratt, Jr., has just been replaced as head writer at Y&R.
