GH stars Rick Hearst, Natalia Livingston team up for emotional baseball film

Soap alums Rick Hearst (ex-Ric Lansing, General Hospital; ex-Whip Jones, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Carter Mills/Matt Clark, The Young and the Restless; ex-Alan-Michael Spaulding, Guiding Light; ex-Scotty Banning, Days of our Lives) and Natalia Livingston (ex-Taylor Walker, DAYS; ex-Emily Quartermaine, GH) reunite in Full Count, an emotional film about baseball.

They starred together on General Hospital for several years, and now Rick Hearst (ex-Ric Lansing) and Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily Quartermaine) are sharing the screen once more. The pair has teamed up for the new film Full Count.

The emotional sports drama follows Milton Young (John Paul Kakos), who is forced by a series of unfortunate events to give up his dream of playing professional baseball and return home to the town he fought hard to escape. Once home, Milton faces insurmountable economic and personal hardships, only to be faced with an even greater challenge: defending himself against a tragic crime that could send him to prison for life. What emerges is a heartwarming story about perseverance, faith, triumph, and the struggle to never let go of a dream.

Other stars credited in the film include E. Roger Mitchell, Jason London, Afeemo Omilami, Victoria Staley, Adam Boyer, Triston Dye, and Mary Kraft.

"I'm so proud to have been a part of this beautiful movie," shares Livingston on Instagram, adding: "I played Jason London's wife Katherine in the film and loved every minute of working with this wonderful cast and crew! Hope you'll check it out!"

Hearst also took to Instagram about Full Count, writing, "After much anticipation, I am happy to announce the release of this film I was blessed to be part of."

Hearst has one of the most recognizable faces in daytime, having starred on a number of soap operas over the years. His credits include playing GH's Ric, The Bold and the Beautiful's Whipple Jones, The Young and the Restless' Carter Mills (a.k.a. Matt Clark), Guiding Light's Alan-Michael Spaulding, and Days of our Lives' Scotty Banning. His most recent credits include Daytime Divas and CW's reboot of Dynasty.

Livingston got her break in daytime with the role of GH's Emily, which she played from 2003 to 2009. She briefly took on the role of DAYS' Taylor Walker in 2011 before going on to star in Tainted Dreams. Though she is still acting, Livingston is currently focusing on her documentary In Their Shoes, which she produced, and raising her new daughter, who she welcomed last year.

Full Count is slated for a theatrical and VOD release on Friday, October 25.
