General Hospital has once again tapped Robert Adamson (ex-Noah Newman, The Young and the Restless) to step in for Chad Duell in the role of Michael Corinthos.
Fan-fave General Hospital star Chad Duell will be absent yet again from his role as Michael Corinthos, with actor Robert Adamson (ex-Noah Newman, The Young and the Restless) briefly stepping in for a handful of episodes.
According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Adamson will be back in the role of Carly's (Laura Wright) son the week of August 29, with additional (yet unknown) dates to follow.

As fans may recall, Adamson originally filled in for Duell for several episodes airing in June and July. At the time, Duell assured fans that he was "good" and that the temporary recast "was COVID-related."
So far, Duell hasn't offered an explanation as to why he isn't available to film his GH scenes this time around, but the article in SOD stresses that it is indeed just a temporary absence. Therefore, fans can expect Michael's story to continue unfolding without interruption and for Duell to be back in the character's shoes in no time.
