Jaime Ray Newman, who played General Hospital's Kristina Cassadine, is set to play a role in the highly anticipated Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere.
The title may imply something small, but Little Fires Everywhere is set to be a big hit -- and it's going to star a face that is very familiar to daytime fans. Jaime Ray Newman, who played General Hospital character Kristina Cassadine, has joined the cast of Hulu's upcoming miniseries.
The project, based on Celeste Ng's novel of the same name, follows "the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood -- and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster."

Newman played GH's Kristina Corinthos -- Alexis Davis' sister -- from 2001 to 2003. As fans of the soap may recall, Kristina died in a bomb set off by Luis Ramon Alcazar.
