General Hospital's Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) questions Billy Miller's (Drew Cain) departure from the soap, wonders if the decision is a mistake.
In a post that has General Hospital fans going "Hmmm...," Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) has spoken out about the departure of her costar Billy Miller (Drew Cain). News of his exit broke in late July, and she has now joined the bandwagon of disappointed fans who believe that the decision to let the multiple Emmy-winning actor go is a huge mistake.
"I feel like I have to address this situation. #BillyMiller 's untimely departure from #gh," Monaco wrote on Twitter. "Honestly, I can not come up with the words to describe how I feel about this decision... a decision that may not be what our audience thinks to be true. I'm heartbroken... more to come."

While the defense of Miller's position on the show is newsworthy enough for the usually private actress, her words hint that there may be some things going on behind the scenes that aren't what viewers think to be true. It's unclear at the moment what Monaco could be alluding to, but she has promised that there may be more information coming soon.
Miller first joined GH in 2014, playing a memory-less Jason Morgan after the character's original portrayer, Steve Burton, took on the role of The Young and the Restless' Dylan McAvoy. When Burton was let go from Y&R in 2017, the GH writers shuffled things around so he could slip back into the role of Jason while Miller took on the role of Jason's long-lost twin brother, Drew.
In an exit statement made via his agent, Miller -- whose daytime credits also include Y&R's Billy Abbott and All My Children's Richie Novak -- assured fans that "instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement, and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together." He also thanked viewers for allowing him into their homes and lives, stating: "I would be remiss in this crazy, unpredictable world we all love so much if I did not hold out the possibility that maybe our goodbye is really...UNTIL NEXT TIME."
