On Sunday, October 9, the 6th Annual Rock Show for Charity will be held in New York featuring stars from As the World Turns, Guiding Light, and One Life to Live. The event will be emceed by Emmy winner Gina Tognoni and feature a headlining appearance by the Bradley Cole Band.WHEN: The Rock Show for Charity is Saturday, October 9, 2010. Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm.WHERE:The Rock Show for Charity is held every year during the Columbus Day Weekend in New York City. We convert the first floor conference rooms of the Red Cross Headquarters into a beautiful nightclub, bringing in the stage, sound and lights for the night. The event is located at 520 W. 49th St., between 10th and 11th Avenues.

WHAT:The Rock Show for Charity is a fantastic opportunity for stars of daytime to channel their inner rock stars and for fans of daytime to experience and enjoy their favorite actors' multi-talents. It's a very up close and personal experience. This year, the Rock Show for Charity will pay homage to the music of the 80's.The Rock Show for Charity is a benefit for the American Red Cross. In the past funds have been distributed to the Disaster Relief Funds for the both the Tsunami and Katrina and also to aid the Greater New York area. This year there will also be an auction featuring soap memorabilia -- including two As the World Turns cast-signed scripts from the series' final episode. There are only a handful of these scripts in existence.

HOW:Tickets are $150 (the price of a Broadway show) and are available online at ticketleap.com, by mail at Nomadic Music, Inc., P.O. Box 5214, Uvalde, TX 78802 or at the door the day of the show. All proceeds go to benefit the American Red Cross.
