Lily Anne Harrison -- daughter of Gregory Harrison, who plays Gregory Chase -- heads to General Hospital as the potential surrogate for Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Ann Smith) and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
General Hospital casting is keeping it in the family these days. First, Josh Swickard's (Harrison Chase) wife Lauren Swickard was cast as Ferncliff's Nurse Janice, and now Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Lily Anne Harrison has landed the role of Andrea Gates, the potential surrogate for Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Ann Smith) and her partner T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow).
If Lily Anne looks familiar, it's because her real-life father is Gregory Harrison (Gregory Chase), and her mother is actress Randi Oaks. However, Lily Anne has an impressive rsum in her own right. She studied acting and improv at prestigious companies and studios like Groundlings School of Improv, Margie Haber Studio, Lesly Kahn & Company, and Ivana Chubbuck Studio, and at UCLA. She's also done quite a number of projects and movies for the Hallmark Channel, and she has appeared in several independent films.
Lily Anne's role on GH comes at a pivotal time for Molly and T.J. Molly was recently diagnosed with a severe case of endometriosis and was told that she was unlikely to carry children of her own. It was a huge blow to both Molly and T.J., who had dreamed of starting a family of their own. With their options limited, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) offered to be her baby sister's surrogate, but neither Molly nor T.J. was comfortable with the idea of accepting flighty Kristina's generous offer, for a myriad of reasons.
Besides Lily Anne Harrison and Lauren Swickard, other recent family appearances include Cameron Mathisons (Drew Caine) wife Vanessa Mathison guest several times since April 2022 as Executive Coach Mia Lombardi who had offered Drew and Carly Spencer professional advice. During the 2023 Nurses Ball, Nancy Lee Grahns daughter Kate Grahn who performed during Josh Swickards musical number, and Genie Francis (Laura Collins) daughter Eliza Frakes had a cameo in May as one of the two producers who had tried to undermine Sasha Gilmore during an appearance on the Home and Heart channel. Finally, Joshua Benard, Maurice Benards son, appeared several times in 2022 as one of Josslyn Jacks classmates Adam.
Lily Anne Harrison is set to appear on GH the week of August 14, 2023.
