Jacklyn Zeman is back as General Hospital's Bobbie

Jacklyn Zeman makes a return as General Hospital's Bobbie Spencer and teases that her storyline includes many fan-favorite characters.

Hot on the heels of the exciting news that Genie Francis is making a return as General Hospital's Laura Spencer Collins comes word that another fan favorite is on her way back to Port Charles: Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer).

The actress posted a video to Twitter, announcing the exciting news.

"Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know I'm back on GH for a couple of shows!" she shares. "I'm shooting today. It's a big cast, a lot of fun on the set. Stay tuned!"

Fans took to social media earlier this year to express their displeasure over not having Zeman on the canvas, and her return to the ABC soap opera is welcome news to both them and the actress herself. Back in February, she addressed her absence from storyline with the tweet: "Future plans for Bobbie will be determined by our writers. I do miss my GH family. Thank you to all for your kind and generous thoughts."

Then in May, Zeman revealed some pretty big news: she is co-host of a new TLC series called Make This Place Your Home.

Zeman joined GH back in 1977 -- the same year Genie Francis joined the daytime show. There's no word yet on what brings Bobbie back to Port Charles, but here's hoping it'll be as exciting as the storyline that ABC Executive Nathan Varni promised for Francis.

In other GH return news, Donna Mills is also set to reprise her role as Madeline Reeves.
