General Hospital's Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine) is once again recovering from a pet-related injury, this time leading to surgery on her hand.
Best wishes are pouring in for General Hospital star Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine), who is currently recovering from hand surgery.
The actress revealed on her Facebook page that she had to go to the hospital on July 26. "Oops, I did it again!" she teased. "Just a little hand surgery for a fracture that I got rescuing my tortoise off a hillside."

As fans may recall, this isn't the first time that Charleson has suffered a pet-related injury. She fractured her hip when her dog, Riley Rose, accidentally knocked her over back in April of 2018. The injury was bad, as was the fact that it forced GH to temporarily recast the role of Monica. Luckily, Patty McCormack was able to fill in while Charleson recovered.
Charleson's current injury doesn't seem as serious as her hip fracture, seeing as how the actress attended the GH fan club the weekend after her hand surgery. But we're guessing it's still quite a painful experience! Hopefully, the actress will recover quickly and be back to Port Charles very soon.
