Kathleen Gati (Dr. Obrecht) opens up about returning to The CW series Arrow and her dwindling days at General Hospital.
Poor Dr. Obrecht's career has flatlined over at General Hospital, but just as the evil doc's gig comes to an end, a fun gig has returned for her portrayer, Kathleen Gati.
The actress shares that she has reprised her role as Raisa for the sixth season of The CW's super hero series, Arrow.
"Beyond ecstatic to officially announce that I am returning to ARROW!" Gati tweeted. "Awesome cast, writers, production! #JOY"

Gati's Raisa appeared in the pilot episode of Arrow back in 2012, and while the character has been mentioned over the years, she hasn't been seen onscreen since. And that makes the return extra special for the actress.
"I loved my Arrow family during the pilot shoot and it is a joy to work with Stephen Amell and gang again," she says of reprising Raisa, who helped raise Oliver Queen (a.k.a. Green Arrow). "I am looking forward to working with everyone!"
But what does returning to the super hero series mean for her role as the love-to-hate doc over at GH? Obrecht was recently fired, and considering her storyline currently ties heavily into the Finn/Hayden romance (which is seemingly on the skids due to Rebecca 's upcoming exit), some fans are concerned Gati is headed out the door, as well. But the actress promises that she's not going anywhere -- at least not in the foreseeable future.
"I will continue to recur on General Hospital as long as they want me to," she tweeted.
Gati joined the ABC soap in 2012 and has managed to juggle plenty of other gigs while working on the soap, including appearances on Being Mary Jane and Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462. So fingers crossed she'll be able to manage both Arrow and GH at the same time, too!
Be sure to check out the debut of the sixth season of The CW's Arrow on Thursday, October 12, at 9PM ET.
