Elmarie Wendel, who played General Hospital's Peg in a powerful story arc back in 2008, has passed away.
Television fans are mourning the loss of veteran actress Elmarie Wendel, whose death was confirmed by her daughter this past weekend. She was 89.
Though more widely known as 3rd Rock from the Sun's Mrs. Dubcek, soap fans likely recognize her for her short yet memorable stint on General Hospital back in 2008.
The Iowa native appeared on the ABC daytime series for a handful of episodes as a woman named Peg, whom Michael (played by Dylan Cash at the time) encountered in a cabin after accidentally shooting Kate (Megan Ward). Peg consoled the terrified child and convinced him to contact his family by sharing her own story of being a runaway.
