General Hospital stars unite to fight cancer

Join General Hospital stars Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Tamara Braun (Kim Nero), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), and Wes Ramsey (Peter August) for an event aimed at fighting ovarian cancer.

Calling all ovarian cancer cells: prepare for a serious crushing, because General Hospital stars are out for some serious charity work.

Several actors from the ABC soap opera -- including Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Tamara Braun (Kim Nero), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), and Wes Ramsey (Peter August) -- are hitting Philadelphia this fall to hang out with fans and simultaneously help raise awareness and funds for the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation (SROCF).

"The SROCF doesn't want any woman to feel alone in the battle against ovarian cancer," McCoy tells Soaps In Depth. "They work hard to provide information to help us navigate and inform us, and give us the hope we need to beat it. I can't wait to meet the fans coming out to support this foundation. We're going to have a great time!"

The GH charity event will take place on September 14 and will include two portions: an evening at the Helium Comedy Club that includes photos, autographs, and a Q&A with the cast members, and a private dinner afterward.
