General Hospital star Finola Hughes opened up about the budding romance between Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Fan favorite General Hospital actress Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) dropped by Live with Kelly and Ryan on Tuesday, where she caught up with her former All My Children costar Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Santos) and gave viewers a little tease about her summer shenanigans in Port Charles.
The actress, who was accompanied by her son, Dylan, at the ABC talk show, says that the story for Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is definitely going to be heating up. But will it turn romantic?
"Well, I can tell you that I'm sort of getting together with this guy who used to be, or was also in, the agency [that we call] the Bureau, which is the WSB... and it's like the FBI, I suppose," she reveals. "So, we have this in common, and we're going on a caper to look for somebody who has potentially stolen a baby -- which is what happens all the time on soaps!"

Hughes wasn't able to reveal anything else about Anna's potential summer of love, but the soapy conversation continued when Ripa explained to her cohost, Ryan Seacrest, that everybody gets kidnapped on soap operas. "And if you haven't been kidnapped," she joked, You're a loser!"
