General Hospital is bringing back Chloe Lanier (ex-Patricia Young), and she'll be playing a brand-new character.
General Hospital wowed not only fans but the entire daytime industry with its moving 52nd anniversary storyline that delved into Luke Spencer's past. The ABC soap won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series with the emotional episodes that featured Anthony Geary as Luke, Laura Wright as Lena Spencer, Joey Luthman as Young Luke, and Chloe Lanier as a Young Patricia Spencer. Fans praised the latter two for their impressive, strong portrayals of the young versions of Luke and Patricia, and obviously GH listened, because they're bringing Lanier back in a whole new role!
ABC Soaps In Depth reports that the actress will be heading back to Port Charles as a contract character named Nelle. No other details about the role have been made public, other than fans can expect to see Lanier appear again starting on Friday, August 5.
For fans who just can't wait until next month to see the actress, you can check out her current role as Chelsea on DirecTV's Kingdom.
