A Port Charles resident not seen since the early 1990s is back in town. Paul Hornsby returned this week, but with a new actor playing the role.
Soap vet Richard Burgi (ex-Chad Rollo, Another World; ex-Glenn Harrington, As the World Turns; ex-Phillip Collier, Days of our Lives; ex-Randy Stone, One Life to Live) has assumed the role of Paul Hornsby on General Hospital.
Paul Hornsby is Dillon's dad and one of Tracy Quartermaine's ex-husbands. For more of the ins and outs of how Paul fits into GH history, check out our Hornsby family tree.
Burgi has been making his presence known in primetime for some time in roles on Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, and many others. He was brought back to daytime to be close to his family, Soap Opera Digest reports. Burgi also cited a "great conversation" that he had with GH executive producer Frank Valentini about "working with him and the writers to bring out who" Paul might be.

It's been over two decades since Paul was last seen in Port Charles. From 1991 to 1994, Paul was portrayed by Paul Satterfield.
