Days of our Lives alum Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Jonas) made her debut as the temporary replacement for General Hospital's Kirsten Storms this week, and she's thanking fans for the opportunity to play Maxie.
Days of our Lives alum Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Jonas) has stepped in as a short-term replacement for General Hospital's Kirsten Storms in the role of Maxie, and she says she's thankful for the opportunity to play the beloved character.
"Thank u Port Charles for letting me visit," Burnett tweeted. "Kirsten is so talented, & created such a fun character, it was an honor to step in for a few."
As Soap Central previously reported, Storms took a temporary hiatus starting on May 29 due to skin issues. "The dr's say my breakouts are due to stress, but shouldn't take long to get under control," she explained at the time. "However, it was becoming too difficult for GH to cover up. And we all know in this biz appearance is important."
