It would appear that General Hospital is about to alter one of its storylines. According to a newly published report, actress Kelly Sullivan will be exiting her role as Connie Falconeri.
According to a published report, Kelly Sullivan (Connie Falconeri/Kate Howard) is exiting her General Hospital role.
"Multiple sources confirm to Digest that Kelly Sullivan, who took over the role of GH's Kate Howard in 2011, will be exiting as Kate's integrated persona, Connie," Soap Opera Digest reported on their web site.
Sullivan assumed the role of Kate Howard, and later her alter Connie Falconeri, in September 2011. The role marked Sullivan's first contract role in daytime. The actress has previously appeared as a day player on As the World Turns and One Life to Live.
Megan Ward created the role of Kate in May 2007 and remained on contract with General Hospital through 2009.
A final airdate has not been announced, nor has there been any indication that General Hospital will recast the role of Connie.
ABC does not comment on contract status.
