Guiding Light's Sharon Leal (ex-Dahlia Crede) has joined the cast of the new CBS drama Instinct in a series regular role.
Congratulations are in order for former Guiding Light star Sharon Leal (ex-Dahlia Crede), who just booked a major role on the upcoming CBS drama series Instinct.
The series, based on the upcoming book of the same name by James Patterson, follows Dr. Dylan Reinhart (Alan Cumming), a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life by tenacious NYPD Detective Lizzie Needham (Bojana Novakovic) when she needs help to stop a serial killer. Deadline reports Leal will play a friend of Lizzie's who has recently been promoted to be their boss in the department.
Leal's character has reportedly been "reconceived" since the pilot, resulting in the series casting Leal in the role that was played in the pilot by Khandi Alexander.
