Peter August's reign of terror over Port Charles has come to an end. At least for now. Peter's death spiral down a flight of steps has brought about actor Wes Ramsey's General Hospital exit.
It would appear that ber-villain Peter August has left the building -- at least for now. Because, you know, soaps.
According to published reports, Wes Ramsey has aired for the final time, and there are no immediately plans for the actor or his alter ego to return. But again... soaps.
Ramsey' Peter (a.k.a. Henrik Faison) has been causing trouble in and around Port Charles since 2017, much in the way that his daddy, Cesar Faison, did in the 1980s and 1990s. Perhaps "causing trouble" is a bit of an understatement. After all, Peter is responsible for the deaths of Drew Cain and the formerly mononymic artist Franco Baldwin.

All the terror and badguying came to an end on June 3, when Dr. Hamilton Finn pushed Peter down a flight of stairs, leading to Elizabeth Webber subsequently declaring Peter dead. Soap Opera Digest reports that the June 3 episode was, in fact, Ramsey's final airing.
In addition to his work on General Hospital, Ramsey also appeared as Samuel Spencer on Guiding Light and as Owen Kent on Days of our Lives.
Do you think Peter August is really dead? If not, how long before the character makes a return? Could Wes Ramsey return as a new character?
