Here's everything you need to know about Porter Fasullo, the new actor who has taken over the role of General Hospital's Danny Morgan.
General Hospital viewers were surprised to see a new Danny Morgan on the Friday, May 31, episode of the ABC series, and Soap Central can confirm the new actor playing Sam and Jason's son is Porter Fasullo.
Former portrayer TK Weaver responded to the casting switch on Twitter, with his official account sharing: "I was recast. I found out a couple weeks ago but I was asked not to tell anyone. Broke my heart... I loved being Danny Morgan for 3 years. I learned so much. I wish I could have grown up more on the show but it didn't happen unfortunately. Good luck to the new Danny!! I hope you all love him too! Truly."
Fasullo doesn't have an IMDb page just yet, but he has starred in a stage production of Mary Poppins as well as a recent Ring Pop Gummy Gems commercial. He has also worked as a model; can sing, surf, and skate; and is bilingual in Spanish.

Shortly after news of his casting broke, Fasullo took to Instagram to thank GH viewers for their support.
"Thanks for all the love General Hospital fans. I'm extremely grateful to have joined the GH cast and family as Danny Morgan," he shared. "I know I've got big shoes to fill from TK Weaver and I hope I can make you all proud."
The young actor also thanked his family for support as well as his agent Alysa and agency Paloma Model and Talent "who believed in me from the beginning. I would never be here without you guys."
At this time, there's no information on why GH decided to recast the role of Danny.
