General Hospital's Lynn Herring says her popular character, Lucy Coe, is staying put in Port Charles.
General Hospital fans were thrilled with the return of Lynn Herring's Lucy Coe for the Nurses Ball, and it looks like the happy feeling will be extended.
The actress tells Soap Opera Digest that the alter ego she originally took on back in 1986 will be spending much more time in Port Charles. "I said to [our executive producer, Frank Valentini], 'When you have something interesting, I'll definitely be back; the Nurses Ball isn't the end of Lucy, it just may not be right away [that she's seen again]," she teases.

As for what storyline might come, she says, "I'm hopeful that Lucy can be involved in what's going on between Kevin [Jon Lindstrom] and Laura [Genie Francis]. I think that could be very juicy and interesting and fun, with so much history between all characters."
