General Hospital's Haley Pullos is facing serious charges following a car crash last month that left her sidelined from the ABC soap and another driver fighting for their life.
There are new details about the car accident that has sidelined General Hospital star Haley Pullos (Molly Lansing-Davis).
Last week, Pullos took to social media to share that she had been involved in an automobile accident. The Emmy-nominated actress told fans that she was "going to need a little time to recover" and would "be back as soon as possible!"
Now, TMZ is reporting that Pullos was "driving on [the 134] freeway in Pasadena on April 29 ... when she swerved, flew over the dividing barrier, and into oncoming traffic." Her car collided head-on with another car that was going about 60 mph.

The driver of the other car, a 23-year-old man, survived the crash but was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Firefighters had used the jaws of life to extract Pullos from her car, and she was subsequently taken to the hospital. There, police reportedly noticed "the smell of alcohol on her breath, slurred speech, and watery eyes." Pullos was arrested at the hospital on felony DUI charges.
TMZ reported that police found edible cannabis products and mini bottles of tequila in Pullos' vehicle.
"Pullos was ultimately arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving the wrong way on a freeway, causing injury," the California Highway Patrol said in a statement.
According to California law, felony DUI charges can be made if the impaired driver causes an accident in which another person sustains bodily injury or is killed. If found guilty, a sentence can include up to three years in state prison, plus a fine of up to $1,000. Those convicted also face suspension of their license and mandatory use of an interlock device, a device that requires the driver to blow into a breathalyzer before being able to operate the vehicle.
Following the accident, the Pasadena Fire Department tweeted photos from the scene and reminded everyone to "stay within the speed limit, avoid drinking and stay off your phone."
Investigators determined that Pullos was also involved in a hit-and-run crash in Pasadena before the accident on the 134 Freeway. Details about that crash were not disclosed.
General Hospital has tapped Holiday Mia Kriegel to take over the role of Molly.
An ABC sources reveals that the network is aware of the allegations against Pullos and they are working to gather more information.
UPDATE (May 19, 2023): Haley Pullos has checked into the Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Center by her father, according to the Daily Mail. The facility offers several alcohol and drug addiction treatments, "ranging from a ten-day long detox to a more intensive medication-assisted treatment with a residential option for round-the-clock care."
