Kathleen Gati has a role in a brand-new flick. Will we see her on General Hospital again?
General Hospital fans have not seen Liesl Obrecht in Port Charles since late last year, but actress Kathleen Gati has been keeping herself busy bringing another character to life.
While Liesl has been MIA, it felt like Gati was, as well. In March, Gati explained in a tweet why she had not been saying much.
"Just a little hint to say I've been quiet because I am busy acting in a beautiful movie. Can't say more at the moment," she wrote. "Those NDAs are powerful! But I am sending my love to you all!"

In April, she posted that she was finally back in the States after months working in Europe, but she still couldn't tell us much about what she had been doing.
"Back from Europe after working with an incredible cast and crew on a film that takes place during WWII," Gati tweeted. "Can't share more details at this time, but really loved the experience."
Now, she finally offered some details on this very special project that took her halfway across the world. She's been working on a film about fleeing from Nazis during WWII.
"I can now announce the name of the feature film I had the pleasure of working on: 'Desperate Journey' with an amazing cast, incredible director, producer and production team!!" she wrote on May 9.
According to Desperate Journey's IMDb page, the movie is "set in a burlesque world of 1940s Paris, a man is forced to flee Vienna as Nazi hysteria takes hold." Gati plays a character named Miss Schiff, but a description of the role remains unknown.
Now that Gati is back home, does that mean we might see Liesl pop up in Port Charles again? She still has nieces Nina and Willow there, and Scott would probably love to see his schnitzel. More importantly, if Laura does manage to get serial-killing Heather released from Pentonville, we're sure Liesl might want to have a little chat with the woman who hooked her precious Britta.
