General Hospital comings and goings: Giovanni Mazza joins cast as Brook Lynn's cousin

General Hospital's big Brooklyn-Port Charles wedding will introduce a brand-new character for the younger set.

Young violinist Giovanni Mazza makes his General Hospital debut next week when Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase finally wed, according to Deadline. Giovanni Cerullo will be one of the many guests who make their way upstate from Brooklyn, NY.

Mazza is a known violinist who has made appearances during NBA halftime shows since 2015. His Instagram page is filled with videos and stills of performances on various professional basketball courts, including Celtics, Lakers, and Thunder games. He was especially proud of a performance of the National Anthem in 2023.

"National Anthem for the @lakers WCF Game 3 - It was such an incredible honor to play the National Anthem for the Lakers on a beautiful G. B. Guadagnini violin from 1760! A very generous weekend loan from @beinandfushi which I am so grateful for!! It was so hard to return it🥹 Thank you @ccunanan40 for letting me play the Anthem for this game! It is such an honor. The crowd was amazing and I loved watching the playback with the new camera!"
