General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio) hints that she will be back in Port Charles for a very special episode set to air later this spring.
Could beloved General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough be on her way back to the ABC soap opera as Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Anna's (Finola Hughes) daughter, Robin? Everything is pointing to a very exciting yes!
The actress teased on social media that she just worked on something with old friends that required her to get dressed up, and what she described sounds an awful lot like GH.
"I did something really cool today that involved wearing make-up and heels all day, which I clearly wasn't prepared for. Can anyone guess what this cool thing was?" she wrote, followed by, "Here's a clue- saw some old friends and reminisced about an absent dear one..."

Though GH hasn't confirmed the news of McCullough's return, it's tough to imagine that her tweets refer to anything else but the soap opera she's called home on-again, off-again since 1985. GH will soon be airing a special episode in honor of late actor John Reilly, who played Robert's good friend Sean Donely. It would make sense for Robin to join in on whatever the show has planned for the tribute episode, which will also feature Reilly's real-life daughter TikTok star Caitlin Reilly. Alas, we'll have to wait for GH to confirm McCullough's return or for the actress to share more information to find out if she will indeed be present during the hour GH pays tribute to Reilly and his beloved alter ego, Sean.
McCullough became an actor at the tender age of seven months, making her first TV appearance in a diaper commercial opposite Juliet Mills. She joined the cast of GH as Robin Scorpio in 1985, when she was just seven years old.
Though having McCullough back on GH would be exciting, fans shouldn't get their hopes up too high that she'd appear in more than the upcoming Reilly tribute episode. The actor-turned-director announced in 2020 that after a "wild ride" that she's grateful for, she has retired from acting.
