The long-running ABC soap is about to deliver just what the doctor ordered.
ABC's General Hospital has been giving fans extra doses of drama lately, and the gift will keep on giving come May.
The Emmy-nominated series has announced that Friday, May 1, will see the return of the popular Nurses Ball, an event that is set to bring back several familiar faces -- including that of either Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols), Mike Corinthos (Ron Hale), Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder), or Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis). As viewers may recall, a Fan February poll asked fans to pick which of the four aforementioned characters they wanted to make a surprise resurface in Port Charles.
In addition to the mystery character, several other surprises are in store for the Nurses Ball period, which is scheduled to last through Tuesday, May 5, and rumored to be honoring the 20th anniversary of Stone's (Michael Sutton) death in a very special way. As May Sweeps rolls on, the ABC soap will be broadcasting live from its Los Angeles studio. Tune in on Friday, May 15, and Monday, May 18, to catch the exciting live television event.
