General Hospital's Brook Lynn is about to get more guests from the New York City boroughs in the form of her grandfather.
In November, Brook Lynn Quartermaine was thrilled when some of her Brooklyn clan arrived in Port Charles. Mom Lois returned after nearly 20 years away, with original actress Rena Sofer in the role. Right behind her was Grandma Gloria, with original actress Ellen Travolta reprising the character. Now, BLQ's grandpa Carmine Cerullo is about to arrive in the form of actor George Russo.
The last time we saw Carmine was in 1996, when Lois was still a part of the Quartermaine clan and married to Ned. John Capodice played the character off and on from 1994 to 1996.
This will be Russo's soap opera debut. The actor has previously appeared in a variety of movies and television shows, including The Offer, Winning Time, Grand Crew, and Shameless.

Russo will start bringing Carmine to life on May 15, which sounds like it's just in time for Brook Lynn and Chase to get married during May sweeps. Brook Lynn is set to wear part of the wedding gown that Lois wore when she married Ned in Bensonhurst back in 1995 -- which was Ned's grandmother Lila's wedding gown. Carmine attended those nuptials, as well.
There's no word on whether Travolta will return as Gloria to watch her granddaughter marry the cop of her dreams.
