General Hospital's Nina and Drew are mortal enemies at the moment, but is all of that about to change by May sweeps?
General Hospital's Drew Cain has made no secret of his disdain for Nina Reeves. He was livid when he learned that Nina was the one who turned him and Carly in to the SEC for committing an actual crime -- in this case, insider trading. Drew ended up taking the blame for the whole ordeal, spending several months in Pentonville.
While Nina didn't commit a crime by reporting a crime, Drew still didn't feel Nina had the right to do what she did and got back at her by firing her from her position as editor-in-chief at Crimson. He then had to eat crow and re-hire her about a month later when his replacement editor, Carly, up and quit both her job and their relationship.
Now, Drew is Nina's boss again and the two have been verbally sparring left and right. Fans have suspected all that animosity might ignite into soap opera passion. Mathison's latest Instagram post makes it clear that fan theories might be right on the money.

Mathison posted a photo to Instagram on April 9 of a shirtless Drew and scantily clad Nina with the caption reading, "Wait...what just happened?" The pic appeared to be taken from a monitor in the studio, meaning these scenes could air in time for May sweeps.
That's what fans are now wondering -- what just happened? The photo seems to hint towards Nina and Drew having hate sex. We all know that hate sex can often lead to a full-fledged relationship down the line, which is as soap opera as it gets.
If Nina and Drew do become a full-fledged Port Charles power couple, it could have ripple effects across the canvas -- especially for Carly, who will undoubtedly be horrified that another man she once loved ended up with Nina. Remember, Nina already managed to snag both Jax and Sonny, so why not Drew, too?
