Tabyana Ali and her fans have something to cheer about as Trina gets the scenes she's needed on the two-year anniversary of the actress' General Hospital debut.
It's been nearly two months since General Hospital's Spencer Cassadine went overboard on a Parisian riverboat that looked strikingly like the Haunted Star, which blew up off the coast of a fictional version of Greenland last year.
During these two months, we have barely seen Trina Robinson grieve the boy she loved with all her heart. In fact, we have barely seen Trina at all. Thankfully, that changed on March 25, the day Tabyana Ali celebrated two years of bringing Trina to life.
Ali took over for Sydney Mikayla, who left the soap in 2022 to focus on college, and Ali stepped in just as Trina was falsely accused of making a revenge porn video of her two BFFs, Josslyn and Cameron. Her chemistry with Nicholas Alexander Chavez's Spencer solidified them as a Port Charles power couple.

"OH MY GOSH! It's been 2 years?! That went by so quick!! I love y'all soo much! Ya'll have made this 2 years so much fun! LETS PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999," Tabyana Ali wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Now that Chavez is on hiatus from the show to film Netflix's Monster: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story, Spencer is presumed dead, and Trina finally broke down and expressed her grief and sorrow -- which is exactly what fans have been clamoring for.
After pouring out her heart to Aunt Stella and acknowledging that Spencer didn't get the best memorial, Trina finally visited the grave that didn't contain his body, since one was never found.
"Thank you #GH for today. It's perfect for Tabyana's 2nd anniversary," X user @Here4Sprina wrote. "Trina got a voice. Trina got support. Trina's unending love for Spencer was so clear. #Tabyversary #Sprina #GH."
Trina fan @LadyWrestlingX was moved by everything Trina told Stella, who advised her to create her own memorial for Spencer.
"These Trina-Aunt Stella scenes are so damn good today. Amazing performances by Tabyana Ali and Vernee Watson. I'm glad the writers shaded that dry ass memorial for Spencer which should give Trina the spark to properly honor his memory."
@TamNelson0024 was happy with the March 25 episode, noting that they're grateful to writer Charlotte Gibson and plan to watch it all a second time. "Today was so good! OMG - we knew you were capable @GeneralHospital Taby and Vernee and Rebecca w/her boys. And a shoutout to Charlotte Gibson. This is how you handle with care #Trina #Sprina #Trinasvoicematters #LetLizLead #GH @nathanvarni I can't wait to watch it again."
The scenes at Spencer's gravesite even left some fans in tears, including @SpartyzGirl, who wrote, "Finally being able to get Trina's POV and see how she's dealing w/ Spencer's death was everything I've been wanting! Kudos to everyone involved especially @iamaliford who made me sob repeatedly!"
