Adrianna Len's time at General Hospital is coming to an end -- at least for now. The actress, who has been on recurring status since her return last Spring, will depart in April.
Just a few days after her on-screen love interest was unexpectedly fired comes word that Adrianna Len (Brook Lynn Ashton) is also on her way out of Port Charles. The actress will bid farewell to General Hospital next month when Brook Lynn hits the road on a concert tour.
Len, who until recently was known to fans as Adrianne Leon, confirmed that she will again be leaving General Hospital, but quickly noted that soaps often leave the door open for future returns.
"Yes, it's true but thank God it's a soap," the actress shared via Twitter. "Hellos, Goodbyes... What do they really mean?"
Since her return to General Hospital in May 2010, Len has appeared on a recurring basis. She had appeared previously on the ABC soap as a contract player from 2004 to 2006, and in 2005, Len earned an Outstanding Younger Actress Daytime Emmy nomination.
In an interview with Soaps In Depth, the actress explained that she has enjoyed her new status with GH.
"GH and I have a really nice working agreement and my status as recurring is mutually supported and beneficial," she says. "When they need me, I do my best to manage schedules effectively and efficiently and I will always make it happen for them."
A final airdate has not yet been announced.
