Jason is back on General Hospital, which is bound to make Carly the happiest woman in the Port Charles world.
General Hospital wasted no time introducing Steve Burton and Jason Morgan back into the fold. Jason appeared in the first segment on his comeback day, and by the end of the episode, Dante knew Jason was alive.
Other GH faves are about to be let in on the secret, as well -- and that will likely make Carly's world just a little bit brighter. As fans will recall, when Jason was buried beneath the rubble after a tunnel explosion on Cassadine Island and presumed dead, he had recently declared his love for Carly and married her.

Of course, Jason and Carly never got to enjoy their wedding night because Sonny walked in before they even made it to the bed Carly shared with Sonny for years. The man of the house was back alive and well, so Jason took off his wedding ring and left. That didn't mean Carly wasn't still pining for him, and when he died, she tried to soothe herself with the next best thing -- Jason's brother Drew.
Well, now Jason has returned just as Carly and Drew are having problems in their relationship -- and Laura Wright couldn't be happier.
"Jason coming back into Carly's world. Wow," Wright said in a behind-the-scenes video on GH's social media pages. "It fires up the part of Carly that fights for him and believes in him and stands next to him, no matter what -- and not everybody can handle that."
It also looks like there is a lot to handle with Jason's return. He already stopped a sniper from shooting Sonny and then shot the sniper himself after the man shot Dante. That's a lot of bullets flying just on day one.
In the video, we can see Jason having his mug shot taken, so it looks like he's arrested quickly, which is par for the course for Stone Cold. In fact, Burton quipped that he wasn't going to say much more without his lawyer. That's when Diane quickly appeared in the form of actress Carolyn Hennesy.
One thing Burton did tell us was that Jason might be back with a brand-new attitude.
"I'm really approaching the character differently," the actor said. "I was able to sit down with the head writer to kind of talk about what's happened. What the state of mind is for Jason. It was very helpful, and the story's awesome, and I'm looking forward to it."
