It looks like Maxie Jones will soon be headed back to Port Charles. Actress Kirsten Storms has shared that she's headed back to work at General Hospital.
General Hospital's Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is ready to get back to work. The actress has been on maternity leave since late 2013.
"Just spoke with @valentinifrank," Storms shared on Twitter. "Very excited to return to work next week."
Storms and husband Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Harper Rose Barash, on January 7. For a picture of the little one, click here.

Motherhood has apparently been quite the experience for Storms, who, shortly after announcing her GH return, also posted, "I just saw poop fly. #babyproblems."
None of that has stopped Storms from thinking about her alter ego.
"I wonder what Maxie has been up to on her vacation," Storms asked.
Fans will find out soon enough. Maxie should be back on-screen in April.
Kirsten Storms assumed the role of Maxie Jones in March 2005. In 2009, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actress category. Prior to joining GH, Storms enjoyed a five-year run as Days of our Lives' Isabella "Belle" Black.
