With the Academy Awards set to air on ABC on Sunday, February 26, the cast of the network's soap opera has taken on some of the most outstanding moments from this year's films nominated for Best Picture.
Hayley Erin (Kiki Jerome) and Matt Cohen (Griffin Munro) teamed up to play Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner for a clip from the sweeping science fiction film Arrival.
Anthony Montgomery (Andre Maddox) and Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) took on a scene from the riveting drama Fences, which stars Oscar nominees Denzel Washington and Viola Davis.
Chloe Lanier (Nelle Hayes) and Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) were paired together to re-enact a powerful scene from Lion that's guaranteed to tear your heart out.
And Hayley Erin once again appeared in an Oscar clip, this time with Robert Palmer Watkins (Dillon Quartermaine) to play a scene from the critically acclaimed musical La La Land.
Additional films nominated for Best Picture this year include Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea, Lion, Hidden Figures, Hell or High Water, and Hacksaw Ridge. There's no word yet on whether or not GH plans to take on all nine Best Picture nominees, but here's hoping! Check back here for additional videos if/when they're posted.
